The body gets used to being fed in the morning so it has no issues with burning it off during the night. No need to hold fat in storage as the body is not 'starved'.

Must say, I often go shopping in the afternoon for dinner. I wonder around the outside of the supermarket and choose what I feel like right then and go home and eat it. But i very very rarely have suger cravings or fast food cravings so i can do this no problem. I like real food :)

Thanks for popping by!

I took one nutrition course in University. It'...

I took one nutrition course in University. It's not rocket science, and it's probably the single course that I have used the most in my life--outside of technical skills learned in practicum courses that I use in my job.

Here are of my personal rules:

1) Eat more earlier in the day, less later in the day. "Junkier" food can be better handled by your body earlier in the day because it has the rest of the day to metabolize it. Ice cream for breakfast, anyone? (Seriously, I eat a healthy breakfast anyway, but it's a big one.)

2) Avoid eating anything that has an ingredients list.

3) Make it a goal to plan 90% of everything you eat, 24 hours before you eat it. That is, by the time you tuck into dinner, you know what you will have for dinner the next day. That makes sure you think out your menu, ensure you've bought the right kinds of groceries in advance, you don't impulse-buy snacks because you had the good sense to bring with you a water bottle, granola bars, and fruit, and so on. Bottom line, you're not leaving your diet to chance. You're taking control of it.

4) I juice twice a day: banana, carrot, orange, blueberries, ginger, yogourt, lemon, lime, and a random assortment of other fruits and juices.

5) I eat something dark green at least once a day. If I can't come up with anything else, I make a salad or steam broccoli.
